The Victory Museum is the largest museum of military history in the Russian Federation. The museum hosts the biggest collection of World War II military equipment in Europe, impressive 3D installations and panoramas as well as a unique series of six dioramas depicting the war.

Main Building

The exhibition area of the main building is more than 14 000 m2. Apart from the main exhibition, you may see six unique dioramas depicting major battles of the Great Patriotic War, a 3D historical and artistic panorama “Battle of Berlin”, and a full-dome video projection “Road to Victory”. The Victory Museum collection comprises over 60 thousand artefacts, such as personal belongings of military leaders and soldiers, letters from the front, awards, weapons, uniforms, paper currency and other rare items. Thus, the visitor may connect with this historical epoch through its relics.

“Feat of the Nation” exposition
In commemoration of the heroes of the home front
The new grandiose exposition of the Museum is located on an area of 3 thousand square meters. The new museum space presents the contribution to the Victory of the home front hard workers - thousands of ordinary citizens of the country, scientists, health and cultural workers, all those who selflessly worked for the benefit of the country during the tough years of the Great Patriotic War.
The unique exposition
The large-scale project of Victory Museum has no analogues in the domestic museum practice. The concept of the “Feat of the Nation” is based on a combination of unique exhibits, visual effects and scenery, recreated with stunning authenticity. This combination will allow you not only to learn historical facts, but also to feel emotionally the events of the times of great trials for our country.
